Registration for the 2024/25 School Year –

- If you would like to be added to the waitlist for a class that is already full, please contact the Director, Holly Patton at holly@horneumc.net with your name, phone number, your child’s name, birth date, and the class you are interested in.
- Children enrolling in our three- and four-year-old classes must be completely potty trained prior to the start of the school year. No pull ups or diapers allowed in these classrooms.
- A tour of the facility is recommended when deciding on enrollment.

You will receive an email confirmation for registration and the enrollment payment. If you do NOT receive an email confirmation, resubmit the registration.
Mission:
To provide a wide variety of fun and educational activities in an organized church preschool setting, while promoting learning, cooperation, socialization, and a positive first-school experience.
Curriculum:
Provide children with theme-related and age-appropriate activities in the following areas: chapel, circle time, crafts, science, math, stories, cooking, snacks, music and occasional field trips.
- Chapel – Chapel time will be held weekly in the sanctuary, focusing on God’s love for us all and the unique place we have in this world as Christians.
- Circle Time – Group Time is a time to discuss the weather, seasons, calendar, and the theme for the day.
- Music & Movement – Theme-related music, songs and creative movement is included.
- Science – Age-appropriate activities that stress observation, classification, and use of senses, are introduced.
- STEM – Age-appropriate activities that expose hands on learning and discovery while reinforcing science and math skills with new materials, tools, and concepts.
- Math – Number and shape recognition, counting skills, and basic math principles (i.e. more or less, sorting, etc.) are introduced.
- Crafts – Craft time is scheduled each day, using a variety of materials and promoting process over product – at this age the experience of creating is more important than the resulting artwork.
- Outside Play – Provided every day, except when weather prohibits it.
- Story Time – Storybooks are read daily and are encouraged to be theme related.
- Lunch – Parents provide a lunch for their children Monday through Thursday. We cannot provide an allergy free atmosphere due to the various groups we share space with.
- Field trips -Several field trips are scheduled during the year.

Monthly Tuition Costs are:
- 2-days/week: $200/month
- 3-days/week: $235/month
- 4-days/week: $275/month (available only for 4-year-olds)
- 5-days/week: $325/month (available only for 4-year-olds)
Children must be the age of the class in which they are registered by August 31.
Preschool Hours: Preschool hours are 9:00AM to 1:00PM Monday through Thursday, and 9:00AM to 12:00 NOON on Friday. Monday-Thursday, parents will provide lunch for their student to eat at preschool. Children will eat at home on Fridays. We cannot provide an allergy free atmosphere due to the various groups we share space with.

- Currently enrolled families and church members will register on Monday, February 5th, 2024 at 8am.
- Those not currently enrolled/attending will register on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 at 8am.
- All Registrations are done Online. First come, first served.
- Enrollment fee ($150 non-refundable) is due at time of registration to hold your child’s spot.
