Our Program
Our mission is to provide a wide variety of fun and educational activities in an organized church preschool setting, while promoting learning, cooperation, socialization, and a positive first-school experience. Under the guidance of qualified, enthusiastic, and caring staff, we are developing each child’s talents and abilities by playing, making friends, developing new skills, and learning to love God and one another. We offer theme-related and age-appropriate activities in the following areas:
Class Offerings
- Twos – Two days per week (TTh) or three days per week (MWF). Age appropriate social and emotional skills are learned throughout meaningful days. We focus on language skills and cognitive development. Children will learn through whole group and individual activities, crafts, and play.
- Threes – Two days per week (TTh) or three days per week (MWF). Our three-year-olds practice fine motor skills, math, and letter recognition through whole group, small group and individual themed activities, crafts, and play. Children in our three-year-old program must be fully toilet trained.
- Fours – Two days per week (TTh), three days per week (MWF), four days per week (M-Th) or five days per week (M-F). Children practice fine motor skills, math, science, letter and name recognition. Children continue to learn through whole group, small group, and individual activities. children in our four-year-old program must be fully toilet trained.

Our school year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends two weeks before Memorial Day.

We operate from 9:00am – 1:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am – 12 noon on Friday.

In addition to the regular classroom experience, all children receive instruction in Music and Movement, science activities, and Chapel. We enjoy time on the playground each day when weather allows. All children bring a healthy lunch from home each day except Friday.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR 2026-2027

Registration Information:
- Touring the preschool is highly encouraged prior to registering you child.
- ALL registration is completed online based on first come, first serve.
- Register your child for the age they are on August 31, 2026. (If your child is 3 years old on August 31, 2026, register him/her for the 3-year-old class.)
- Children enrolling in our three- and four-year-old classes must be fully toilet trained prior to the start of the school year. No pull ups or diapers allowed in these classrooms.
- You should receive a confirmation that your google document was submitted. If you do NOT receive this confirmation, please complete the form again.
- You should receive an email receipt for the registration payment.
Registration Fee:
- The non-refundable registration fee is $150 and is due at the time of registration. It is not applied toward tuition.
- This fee is non-refundable once your child has been placed.
- If classes are full, this application will remain on our waiting list until an opening is available. The registration fee will not be due until an opening is available.
- When you are notified of an opening, you will have 48 hours to accept it and pay the registration fee. If you do not respond within 48 hours, your application will be returned to the waiting list.

Tuition
The following tuition rates have been set by the Horne Memorial Preschool Board for the 2026-2027 school year:
- 2 days per week (TTh) = $220/month
- 3 days per week (MWF) = $255/month
- 4 days per week (M-Th) = $300/month (available only for 4-year-olds)
- 5 days per week (M-F) – $350/month (available only for 4-year-olds)

Tuition is separated into 9 equal payments (see above monthly rates). Tuition payments are due the first of each month (September through May). Late payments incur a $15 late fee per child. Tuition may be paid in advance. There will be no refunds or credit given for days missed for any reason including sickness, vacation or the closing of school for inclement weather.
