All Saints Sunday, November 1

Sunday, November 1 we will remember those who have passed since last year’s All Saints’ Sunday. We will observe All Saints at the 9am and 11am services.
It is a day of remembrance and thanksgiving for all who have lived faithfully in the Christian faith, both in the past and in the present. All Saints Sunday celebrates the communion of saints, recognizing the ongoing connection between the living and the faithful departed. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, loved this day, calling it “a festival I truly love” and “a day that I particularly love”. He encouraged giving God thanks for the lives and deaths of faithful believers, seeing it as a way to honor God’s work in their lives.
